A newborn girl was found buried alive near a creek in Compton on Friday after two women walking by heard the sounds of a baby crying. Officials at the scene found the infant had been placed inside a shallow hole along a bike path, the LA County Sheriff’s Department said. She was covered under pieces of rubble.
